I have recently been designing some calendars that work well for digital picture frames, and some variations that can also be displayed as computer screen wallpapers.  Unfortunately, I found out that newer versions of Microsoft operating systems have confounded the effort to use .gif animations as screen wallpapers, so some of the animations posted on the site will not work if users try to set the screen wallpaper to my .gif  variations.  From my research, there are alternative ways to get the job done, but I will not be pursuing those here.  Instead, I can design variations of calendars which work on Vista and Windows 7, without needing animation features.  The following item was created for my wife’s Vista computer, which provides good visibility on the newer operating systems if customers want to have a design that doubles as a screen wallpaper.  Of course, the actual product delivered with be created to your exact resolution, which improves the quality of the offering over this posted sample.   In this design, I incorporated a photo taken in portrait orientation.

My latest fall color composition is a piece I am calling “Autumn Speaks.”  When I am in the mood for some brilliant colors, I like to put up pictures on my screen wallpaper that look like wall hangings.  I thought this picture worked out well, and hope you will agree.  If you have a favorite fall shot, consider letting me matte it for you.
